The Honda Montesa with Miquel Gelabert faced the first race of the 2025 season. It was the world premiere of the RTL Electric in the TR2 category where the team was fighting for the podium on the second day of competition.

En el momento que escuchas la cuenta atrás en la salida del descenso o los segundos antes de una salida de Cross country es algo que no se puede explicar. Es adictivo! Durante la carrera mi mente solo piensa en en las piedras, raíces, trazadas, cambios, precisión, concentración hasta llegar a meta lo más rápido posible, y cuando la cruzo , vuelvo a la realidad. Estos increíbles momentos Generan adicción y por ello me gusta tanto la competición. Este año he decidido volver a Cairns, Australia, donde en el 1996, perdí el mundial cuando más cerca estaba de la victoria. Desde entonces, han pasado muchos años, con muchos altibajos, pero la mentalidad sigue siendo la misma. Ser el más rápido. Pensaba que en Mont Sainte Anne serían mis últimos mundiales, pero este año vuelvo con un reto mayor, levarme el oro en 5 disciplinas diferentes. Vamos a por las primeras dos.
